Meet the Therapists 

Tylie Stokes (BSc Occupational Therapy, MSc Neurological Rehabilitation)

Tylie is a qualified occupational therapist with over 6 years experience working with children with a range of disabilities. Tylie has worked in both mainstream and special needs schools (seen here raising money for Red Nose Day by having her hair specially styled by the school pupils!!).

Tylie is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council and is a member of the British Association of Occupational Therapists. Tylie specialises in complex neurodisability and paediatric brian injury. She has a specialist interest in postural management, housing adaptations, access to assistive technology and development of powered mobility skills. She has presented at a number of specialist training days and conferences. Tylie is qualified in Sensory Integration Therapy and has completed the Bond Solon Excellence in Report Writing and Courtroom Skills training. As part of her MSc she completed a research project exploring eyegaze access for children with complex neurodisabilties.
